About Mission America
Mission America is a Team Mission approach to Declaring God through the youth of Lighthouse Baptist Church. The goal is to unify our youth through team projects that will allow us to discover much about our counrty will declafing Jesus along the way. The Team Mission concept will include a Mission America 2012 trip to New Mexico with stops in New Orleans, Texas, Grand Canyon and the Ozark Mountains. Mission Atlanta will also be a part and will allow evangelistic and humanitarian outreaches in our local area. Other projects are planned including Mission New York and Mission Chicago.

The Power of a Sound Mind
Emotional disorders are some of the most debilitating maladies of our day. Millions are troubled with panic attacks to bi-polar disorders to depression, yet God offers us the power of a sound mind, (See 2 Tim. 1:7). In this series we will look at Bbilical ways to heal these hurts ans well as prevent them. This is a very practical series that will also be very useful to parents as they help their children avoid future problems. Join the Young Couples group taught by Pastor Charles Blackstock. Dr. Blackstock is a board certified and licensed marriage and family counselor.
