Lighthouse Christian Academy College Prep:
Graduates from Lighthouse
Christian Academy will be well prepared to
enter college whether that be a private
Christian college or a secular public
college. The course load they will be
given exceeds the states minimum for college
prep diplomas. Lighthouse Christian
Academy is a member of the Georgia
Association of Christian Schools (GACS).
Through their accreditation, our graduates
will be eligible for entrance into any State
funded school. If a student graduates
and wishes to attend a State school here in
Georgia, they will be eligible to receive
the HOPE Scholarship upon meeting the same
requirements as a student from a state
funded public high school.
Facilities:
Lighthouse Christian
Academy is located on a ten acre campus
recently completed in 2003. Our
facilities include three separate
playgrounds, adult sized ball field, soccer
field, indoor and outdoor volleyball courts,
gymnasium, and shower facilities with
private dressing areas. Large
classrooms allow ample space for learning in
each grade level. Lighthouse
Christian Academy students will
enjoy the use of the commercial go-cart
track located on campus. Hot lunches
will be cooked and served in our commercial
kitchen and dining room. Classrooms
are set up for computer networking and
wireless internet access. Assemblies
will meet in the Lighthouse Baptist Church
auditorium that has multimedia video
projection. Music instruction will
utilize our orchestra & choir rehearsal
room.
