Objective:
The objective in building
a private Christian school is to obey the
Scriptural imperative of Proverbs 22:6 to
"train up a child in the way he should go."
Lighthouse Christian Academy's goal is the
development of the whole student. We
strive to assist parents in the training of
youth and in preparing them academically,
physically and spiritually. Therefore,
we are much more than a classroom, we are a
training center for a successful Christian
life.
Academic:
On standardized tests,
students in private Christian education have
recently scored an average of 23% higher
than the national average for their grade
level. These results are usually
contributed to three things: low
teacher / student ratios, discipline that is
maintained in the classroom which creates an
environment conducive to learning, and
quality teachers who are there for the
students, not just a paycheck.
